We use information to:

  • Provide and operate KinderPath and KinderPath Pro
  • Personalize learning experiences where applicable
  • Support assessments and instructional profiles
  • Generate reports
  • Maintain portfolios and student evidence
  • Manage accounts, schools, and subscriptions

We do not use family or student information to serve third-party advertising.

Student Information

KinderPath Pro is designed for use by authorized educators, schools, centers, and administrators. Student information is entered by those authorized users as part of their instructional work.

Student information remains associated with the authorized school and user context in which it was entered, and is accessible according to existing permissions and school or classroom authorization. KinderPath does not claim ownership of student educational records.

KinderPath is designed with student privacy and school access controls in mind. Specific legal obligations may vary by institution and jurisdiction. Schools and programs remain responsible for determining and meeting their own obligations regarding student records.

Sharing Information

We may share information with service providers that are necessary to operate the platform. These categories may include:

  • Hosting and infrastructure providers
  • Authentication providers
  • Payment processors, such as Stripe
  • Email-delivery providers
  • Storage providers
  • Other technical vendors required to deliver the service

We may also share information where required by law, to protect the safety or rights of users, or in connection with a business transfer.

KinderPath does not sell student educational information.

School Access and Role-Based Access

  • Teachers can access the students and classrooms they are authorized for.
  • School Administrators can access information for their authorized school.
  • KinderPath platform administration may access information when necessary for support, security, or system administration.
  • Access is controlled according to account role and authorization.

If you believe someone has access they should not have, contact security@mykinderpath.com.

Data Retention

Information may be retained while an account or school relationship remains active, and afterward for as long as reasonably necessary for:

  • Providing the services
  • Maintaining records for schools and families
  • Security and abuse prevention
  • Legal, accounting, and other business obligations

Specific retention and deletion practices may be defined further and updated as the platform matures. Where a school controls the account, deletion of student records is typically coordinated with the school.

Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your account through KinderPath Support or through any account controls available to you in the product. Requests can be sent to privacy@mykinderpath.com.

Before an account is deleted, KinderPath verifies the requester and their authority to make the request.

When a deletion request is completed, KinderPath deletes account-connected information that is no longer necessary for legitimate business, legal, security, or financial purposes.

Information That May Be Retained

Certain information may be retained where reasonably necessary for:

  • Legal obligations
  • Financial, billing, and accounting records
  • Fraud prevention and security
  • Disputes and claims
  • Enforcement of our agreements
  • Other legitimate legal obligations

Family Accounts

Deleting a Family account removes the Family account and the connected child profiles and learning records associated with it, subject to information that KinderPath is permitted or required to retain.

KinderPath Pro School Accounts

Deletion of a Pro school account follows the school’s own authority and the applicable school agreement and school deletion process. Requests concerning student records may require coordination with the school, center, or program.

Third-Party Providers and Backups

Records held by third-party service providers, and provider-controlled backups or system copies, may not be immediately deleted by KinderPath and may persist until those providers’ own processes remove them.

Data Requests

You can contact privacy@mykinderpath.com with:

  • Privacy questions
  • Access requests
  • Correction requests
  • Deletion requests
  • Other data-related concerns

Student records managed by a school or center may require coordination with the child’s school, center, or program before information can be shared, changed, or removed.

Security

KinderPath uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or disclosure. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

To report a security concern or suspected vulnerability, contact security@mykinderpath.com.

Children

KinderPath products are designed to support adults — parents, guardians, educators, and administrators — who are working with children ages 3–5.

The platform is not designed to encourage young children to independently create accounts or submit personal information. Family and educator accounts are created and managed by adults, and information about a child is entered by that adult.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as KinderPath evolves. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Where a change is significant, we will make reasonable efforts to notify account holders.
